Anne Perreault from the Women’s Soccer team and Marilou St-Pierre and Sandrine Wemeni from Women’s Basketball have been selected as recipients of the 2022 Recruiting Bursary from La Fondation ALEO. With the goal of encouraging our student-athletes to continue their post-secondary studies and their playing careers in Québec, ALEO presents 26 of these bursaries annually. Receiving $3000 a year over 3 years, the bursaries are awarded to student-athletes recruited to colleges in the RSEQ Division 1 sports of basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Over the past 5 years, ten Cavaliers have been recipients of these recruitment bursaries.

All three recipients are in their first year of study here at Champlain, with Anne in her first semester of Commerce, Marilou in Law & Civilization (Math), and Sandrine taking World Studies. Congratulations to all on their selections and to their future successes as Cavaliers!
